HSDESIGNER.COM – RETURNS, CANCELLATIONS & REFUND POLICY

 

At HS Designer, we are committed to providing every customer with a premium, reliable, and transparent shopping experience. Many of our garments are sourced, tailored, or made-to-order exclusively for you. Because of this, our returns and cancellation policies differ from conventional high-street retailers. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.

 

📋 ORDER TYPES & RETURN ELIGIBILITY

 

We categorise our products into three types, each with different return and refund terms:

 

1. Ready-to-Wear (Immediate Dispatch)

In-stock items held in the UK and dispatched immediately.

Eligible for return if unused, unworn, unwashed, and with all original packaging and tags intact.

A return request must be made within 14 days of delivery.

Items must be returned within 14 calendar days of authorisation.

Once inspected and approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method within 14 calendar days (see Refund Timeframe below).

Customers may choose a credit note instead of a refund if preferred.

Original delivery charges are non-refundable.

 

2. Pre-Order Items

These are sourced upon order from overseas designers or brands (stitched or unstitched).

You may cancel within 48 hours of placing the order for a full refund.

After 48 hours, orders are locked for processing and become non-cancellable and non-refundable.

This is permitted under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, as such goods are ordered to your specification.

 

3. Custom-Tailored/Made-to-Measure Items

 

Designed to your submitted measurements or stitched by our in-house team.

Non-returnable and non-refundable, except where HS Designer has made an error.

If a measurement error is made by us, we will cover return costs and provide a correction or replacement.

 

48-HOUR CANCELLATION WINDOW (PRE-ORDERS)

To cancel within 48 hours, contact us via WhatsApp 07747014706 or email customercare@hsdesigner.com with your order number and item details.

A full refund will be issued to your original payment method.

After 48 hours, cancellations cannot be accepted.

 

🚶 RETURN PROCESS (READY-TO-WEAR ONLY)

Contact us via WhatsApp or email with:

Full name

Order number

Item name and reason for return

Confirmation that the item is unused and in its original condition

If approved, you will receive a return authorisation and return address.

Return postage is your responsibility unless the item is faulty. A tracked delivery service is strongly recommended.

Once received, your return will be inspected. If approved, your refund or credit note will be processed.

 

💳 REFUND TIMEFRAME

Refunds are processed within 14 calendar days of receiving your returned item.

Refunds are always issued to your original payment method.

While processed promptly, it may take 7–10 working days for funds to appear in your account, depending on your bank or card provider.

 

🧵 NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

The following items cannot be returned or refunded:

Pre-order items (after the 48-hour cancellation period)

Custom-stitched or made-to-measure garments

Unstitched suits

Items marked final sale

Items returned outside the 14-day window

Items showing any signs of wear, scent, damage, or label tampering

 

🛏️ SIZING & TAILORING NOTES

In-house tailoring: If HS Designer makes a measurement error, return costs will be covered and a correction or replacement arranged.
Third-party brand stitching: HS Designer is not responsible for sizing discrepancies where garments are stitched by external brand partners.
Fabric constraints: Where fabric limits prevent exact measurements, garments will be stitched to the closest possible fit.

 

🚚 SHIPPING, DELAYS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Delivery times stated on product pages are estimates only.

Delays of up to two weeks may occur due to fabric sourcing, tailoring, or international shipping.

If you require an item for a specific date, please confirm this before placing your order.

HS Designer is not liable for courier delays once a parcel has been dispatched.

 

📦 DAMAGE & FAULTY ITEMS – YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS

If your order arrives damaged or faulty, contact us immediately with photos.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to:

A full refund within 30 days of delivery if goods are faulty.

After 30 days, a repair, replacement, or partial refund may be offered.

Ready-to-wear items: refund, replacement, or credit note offered.

Pre-order/custom items: refund or correction may be offered if unused and tags are intact.

Return postage will be reimbursed if the fault lies with HS Designer.

 

⚠️ PRODUCT DISCLAIMER

Hand-embellished items may show slight variation in embroidery, beading, or colour (5–10%). This is not a fault.

Accessories or trims shown in promotional photos may differ from the final product.

Delicate garments may naturally lose embellishments with wear; this is expected and not considered defective.

Unless otherwise stated, garments must be dry cleaned only. HS Designer is not liable for damage caused by incorrect washing.

 

🔒 CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

Customers are responsible for reviewing and agreeing to this policy before placing an order.

Items returned without authorisation or outside the 14-day window will not be processed. Such items may only be resent once additional postage is paid.
